Get inside a mastermind group of Phoenix, Arizona entrepreneurs as Alex Lowy hosts the January 2009 Mammoth Marketing Herd. Each month Alex brings together a diverse group of business minds to present ideas that are working.
“YICWAP!” TV presents part 2 where Alex stampedes the Herd when he asks a group of Arizona entrepreneurs, “How do most of you people get business?” Of course the economy is on everyone’s minds today, but there are still people doing business.
In this second part installment discover the importance of hand written “thank you” cards for customers and referrals. Notice the advice is –hand written – “thank you” cards for that extra special touch instead of random generations. Another response from the crowd suggests using short video e-mails to reach a target. Not only can videos be a neat form of media, but can also be tracked to see if they are viewed. Unlike just a written e-mail that you have no way of knowing if a person read it. Alex himself brings up the rock solid advice of 1-800 telephone numbers. In Alex’s words, “…they are cheap!” The trick seems to have multiple phone numbers that can be tracked again.
